A: Group classes are a great place to be introduced to yoga and to practice the postures you’ve been taught. However, yoga is most effective when it is taught from 1 teacher to 1 student at a time, just as it was over 2000 years ago.
Imagine a practice that meets your unique physical, mental and emotional needs. A private class where no one is checking out your down dog and you don’t have to compare yourself to that skinny gymnast on the other side of the room!
A practice where you can go at your own pace and feel accomplished and relaxed at the end because it was MADE for YOU!
It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or a well-practiced yogini. Physically fit or just getting back into moving your body more often. When you have a practice that’s tailor made for your body and your needs you are sure to get exactly what you need out of it!
Q: Where do I go to do a private yoga session with you?
A: I currently teach private yoga sessions in my home in Sinking Spring.
Q: What do I get with a private yoga session? Isn’t it just like a regular class just with one person?
A: You get much more personal attention with a private yoga session and it is much different than your typical group class. Here’s how!
Before our first session, we will talk for about 20 minutes so that I can get a good understanding of what your needs and goals are. This way I can create sequences of poses and practices that will lead you in the direction of your goals.
During the 55 minute session I’m laser focused on you, which means I can give you adjustments that are catered to your needs and your body in that very moment. This takes the guess work out of it for you.
My job as your yoga teacher is to TEACH! That means, that I want you to eventually become your own best teacher and NOT rely on me.
With that said, I offer each student their own customized “homework” (not like that stuff in grade school) that will continue to move you towards your goals between private sessions.
All of this means, that you get to feel confident and comfortable that you are being taken care of and that you are guided to the next level of your health and wellness success.
