It’s cold. The Earth is hard. And it’s windy out there! Sounds like winter (in the northern U.S anyway). And it also sounds like VATA season. The winter weather has a way of increasing the level of vata in all of us, causing us to be more mentally “flighty” and anxious, not to mention making our bodies feel cold and stiff!

So this practice is all about reducing the vata dosha. Making us physically warmer and mentally more focused!
