Utkata Konasana (goddess pose) is by far one of my favorite postures. Maybe I like it so much because the name of the pose implies strength and surrender all at the same time. Two areas that I struggle to balance.  Physically, goddess pose is a wonderful way to increase flexibility in the inner thighs and maintain our external hip rotation as we age.
